RMIP was formed as a vehicle for accredited real estate investors to invest in assets that outperform the market. RMIP's principals use their financial and real estate expertise and local market knowledge to uncover real estate opportunities in the Rocky Mountain region. RMIP's principals always invest side by side with their investors and RMIP provides all asset management functions with the mindset of a hands-on, proactive owner.

RMIP’s principals have created and run five successful commercial real estate funds in the United States and Canada as well as sponsoring several individual single-purpose investments. Todd’s focus is on helping Colorado business grow through providing capital form sale lease back transactions. He has come to be known throughout Colorado for developing creative and innovative sale lease back transactions that provide maximum value from real estate assets.

Todd has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has completed acquisition and disposition assignments valued at over a billion dollars. Todd’s experience is deep as well as broad, including land purchases, land sales, speculative development, build-to-suits, lease and sublease transactions, building purchase and sale transactions, portfolio analysis and real estate consulting services.

He earned his BA from Colorado State University and his MBA from the University of Colorado. Todd is highly committed to the community in which he earns his living, giving his energy and experience to: YouthBiz, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Denver Rescue Mission and the Gathering Place. He is also affiliated with Children’s Hospital Courage Classic Team Research Riders, Leadership Denver, Toastmasters International CTM, and has been recognized as one of the Denver Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.”

Todd W. Poppert has worked exclusively in the commercial real estate investment arena for his entire career. Mr. Poppert has participated in over $9 B of investment acquisitions and dispositions across the US and Canada having held positions in acquisitions and dispositions for major public [EOP] and private REITs [Dividend Capital’s: Total Realty Trust].

In 2002, he formed Beam Reach Investment Partners to provide investors with access to a proprietary deal flow and operations platform within the international brokerage firm Colliers Macaulay Nicholls. Beam Reach eventually grew into FirstService Capital Partners, raising discretionary capital primarily from the CMN brokers and senior management.

Through these vehicles, Mr. Poppert acquired, operated, enhanced the value of, and disposed of approximately $75 M of opportunistic investments in Toronto, Burnaby, Edmonton, Phoenix and Dallas, providing significant and over-market returns for his investors.

Mr. Poppert created Colliers Asset Management Company to service the investments and led the asset management and leasing of a portfolio of approximately 1,050,000 SF of office, industrial and mixed-use product resulting in over 300,000 square feet of positive net leasing.

He earned his BA in Economics from Colorado College and lives in Denver with his family. Mr. Poppert and his family direct their philanthropic efforts to combat blood cancer through fund-raising for the LHS, Adolescent/Young Adult Cancer Patient DJF and the Craic Addicts (which provides funding to LLS and other cancer-related causes).

Bianca joined Rocky Mountain Investment Partners in 2016. Ms. Sanchez graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a concurrent Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and Taxation. She spent four years at Deloitte Tax LLP working with partnerships and corporations, followed by her work in accounting for an international cancer non-profit, Love, Hope, Strength. She is excited to utilize her education and experience in the commercial real estate arena and is eager to participate in the growth of Rocky Mountain Investment Partners. Bianca is a Colorado native and currently lives in Denver. She focuses her volunteer time signing people up to be on the bone marrow donor registry and fundraising for organizations that support blood cancer/disease patients.
